Cupery was founded in 1845 in the village of Moulon-le-Petit in Champagne. The vision of the first generation Charles Cupery, who named the house after his own family name with the intention of keeping the family name alive, is undoubtedly still alive today.

Cuppery is not a house that makes flashy Champagne. Nor does it advertise extensively around the world. However, Champagne lovers all over the world admire and love Cupery because it “continues to produce high quality Champagne that is uniquely Cupery”.

The quality of this maison is first evidenced by their vineyards. Among the 320 villages in the Champagne region, only 17 villages possess vineyards designated as “Grand Cru,” the highest classification.
Grand Cru represents the finest terroir in Champagne, blessed by God. Remarkably, CUPERLY owns exclusively Grand Cru vineyards.

Cuppery is a Champagne house that insists on natural production. Although they have huge state-of-the-art facilities, they stick to natural malolactic using traditional Montagne de Reims barrels. The philosophy of making wines that respect the original acidity of the grapes is the approach to expressing the delicate and precise taste of Cupéry.

The cuvée offered in our “Champagne Package” is the “Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru.” This luxurious champagne, made from 100% Chardonnay, is the signature wine of the maison. While CUPERLY maintains its commitment to natural malolactic fermentation, their Blanc de Blancs uses the finest Chardonnay from their Grand Cru vineyards and undergoes cellar aging for over three years.
